Addressing Off-Campus Mail Envelopes
Each envelope must have a complete mailing address (including street and ZIP code) and a complete return address (including Division/Department name or a chargeback account).
It is important to remember that the address where the mail is to be delivered must appear on the line immediately above the city, state, ZIP Code line.
EXAMPLE:
Grand Products Co.
100 Major St.
PO Box 200 —–this mail will be delivered to the PO address
Memphis, TN 38134-0200
Grand Products Co.
PO Box 200
100 Major St. —–this mail will be delivered to the street address
Memphis, TN 38134-0200
Address in a foreign language is permissible, provided the names of the city, province, and or country are indicated in English.
Mail being sent to another country must have the destination country shown on the bottom line of the address with the destination country being spelled out in all capital letters.
