During the Fall/Spring semesters the Residence Hall Managers will follow USPS policy on forwarding student mail for six (6) months after the semester ends. During the summer semester the Campus Mail Room will be forwarding mail for six months.
Packages from UPS and FedEx will be refused unless the student has a street address in Kirksville. The Mailroom will give the local address, as listed on TruView, to the driver for them to attempt delivery.
For University summer camps, i.e. Joseph Baldwin Academy, S.E.E., S.T.E.P., Upward Bound, and Taiwan at Truman that mail will be forwarded for six months also by the Resident Hall Manager.
For staff/faculty mail, it will be delivered to the division/department office and that office shall determine if it will be forwarded. The same procedures will be followed for packages from private carriers.
